FORUM

Student & Lecturer : Foster a "Connection" and "Relationship"

Engage in a Discussion with the Senior Lecturers

In the dynamic and evolving landscape of higher education, the relationship between lecturers and students plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic experience and personal growth of both parties, especially for the postgraduates. As postgraduate scholars embark on their academic journeys, the connection they forge with their supervisors can profoundly impact their research progress, personal growth, and overall success. A good relationship with a supervisor is vital for postgraduate students because it enriches their academic experience, enhances the quality of their research, and contributes to their personal and professional development.

The forum entitled “Student & Lecturer: Foster a “Connection” and “Relationship” delves into the essential aspects of creating meaningful connections and nurturing strong relationships in the academic setting, specifically between supervisors and students. By focusing on effective communication, mutual respect, and mentorship, this forum seeks to foster an environment where students can thrive academically and personally while advancing the frontiers of knowledge in their respective fields. It aims to equip postgraduate scholars, supervisors, and academic communities with the tools and insights necessary to cultivate and sustain productive and supportive relationships between students and their supervisors.

Our panelists had vast experience in supervising postgraduate students. Let's listen to them and engage in the forum discussion!
