About the Speaker
Honorary Prof. Dr. Abdullah Zawawi Hj. Talib
Abdullah Zawawi Talib is an honorary professor at the School of Computer Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) after retiring as a professor in 2019. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees respectively from the University of Bradford, University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and University of Wales (Swansea), all in Britain.
His current and recent researches include crowd simulation modelling, visualisation of biological and medical data, information retrieval, construction/reconstruction and interaction in digital cultural heritage, and real-time modelling and monitoring of fish and pedestrians from videos.
