Associate Professor Dr. Zaid Abdi Alkareem Alyasseri received the B.Sc. degree in computer science from Babylon University in 2007, the M.Sc. degree in computer science from University Science Malaysia (USM), in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in the field of artificial intelligence (brain-inspired computing) from the Computational Intelligence Research Group, School of Computer Sciences, in 2020. He is currently an Associate Professor with the University of Kufa, Iraq, and working as the Director of the Scientific Affairs dept., University of Kufa, Iraq. He is a visting profssor as several international Universities such as UKM, UTeM, and UNITEN. His research interests include optimization, pattern recognition, EEG, brain–computer interface, signal and image processing, machine learning, and deep learning.
